Delilah’s College Tour!!!!

This is all last minute and I’m trying to cobble together some money for her to join in. It is her DREAM road trip with her 2nd family

My daughter’s BFF and their lovely family have invited Delilah on a tour of the West Coast colleges they are interested in attending after senior year 2026. Delilah has a 4.5 GPA and is in the top 9% academically in all of California! She will be getting scholarships, so I won’t be asking for money next year I promise! D’s best friend’s family is taking their daughter on a 5-day drive up the coast of California and into Portland to look at campuses. They’ve been best friends since before 3rd grade and it was incredibly generous for them to offer Delilah a seat on the road trip.

This is something I was never able to do myself and I can’t do it for my daughter without a little help because of the quick timing between the invite and the trip. She is incredibly frugal and has her head on straight, so any money she gets and doesn’t spend she will spend max $200 on a few Honors Societies she’s been invited to (cost about $50-100 each to join. They will look good on her applications and help her get scholarships [National Society for High School Scholars, Honors Society, and The University of California Eligibility in the Local Context (ELC) program]) or she will give it back to you! PS: any good karma achieved by keeping my baby girl on the West Coast is appreciated!! Yall know I loved growing up in Oklahoma and it’s one of my greatest regrets that we haven’t traveled. I hope she and my son see the whole world someday but for now? Let’s keep ‘em close for college if we can! I’ll only deviate from my internal plan if she gets a full ride to A&M *go aggies”

Money will go to Delilah’s Apple Cash. She’s not of age so GFM won’t let her withdraw it.

hotel contributions

gas contributions

food ☺️

maybe a cool sweatshirt when she finds.

her perfect school

dues for 3 academic associations she's been invited to that will look great on her college admissions and help her get scholarships.
