My name is Katherine, and I'm reaching out to share something truly inspiring — my dad is hiking the entire Appalachian Trail! At over 2,190 miles from Georgia to Maine, this legendary trail is one of the longest continuous footpaths in the world — and a lifelong dream of his.

Whether it’s been raising a family, working hard to support others, or simply being the dependable person people turn to, my dad has always put others first. Now, he’s finally taking on something just for him — a personal challenge, a physical and spiritual journey, and a dream decades in the making.

We’re setting up this GoFundMe to help cover the basic costs of his hike — gear replacements, food resupplies, trail town stops, and unforeseen medical or travel needs.
