This is to help get my father the equipment he needs to be mobile again, like a new motorized wheelchair.
He has 8 broken vertebrae, spinal stenosis, degenritive disc disease causing 2 collapsed discs, arthritis, and bone spurs that have calcified to make it even more painful for him. He has seen doctor after doctor that charged him an arm and a leg for tests just to tell him there is nothing they can do. Insurance keeps trying to drop him and not cover any medical equipment to help him. They claim because he won't be able to get to every part of our house they will not cover a chair. He bought a cheap used motorized wheelchair about a year ago to help him get around out of the house but it is giving out. We are trying to make his quality of life better but these things get expensive.
