Make Cody's Gender-Affirming Surgery Possible

Hey! I'm Cody. Hopefully in the near-ish future, I'll be traveling to San Francisco, CA from Minneapolis, MN for non-binary gender-affirming surgery. If you’re one of the folks who has contributed to this fundraiser before, you’ll know that I previously was under the impression that my health insurance was going to fully cover the cost of my surgery. Sadly, that ended up being the furthest thing from the truth. So I was forced to cancel my mid-April surgery date. I’m now having to pivot to the self-pay option, which is why I now am asking for quite a bit more than before.

I was able to get a full refund on the travel expenses that many of you helped me raise previously, and I’ve set all of that aside in my savings account to go towards the surgery costs in the future. Now having the luxury of time, I’m confident that I can save up for the travel expenses with my own income. So now, I’m asking for your help, not only for the cost of my surgery itself, but also to make this surgery possible for me as soon as possible. Thank you for your help with any amount of contribution.
