Hey y’all!

My name is Colton Floyd, and I am launching a Christmas fundraiser in support of

Decade Day Service, an organization that provides life-enriching experiences for individuals with mental, physical, and health disabilities, including both children and adults.

Decade Day Service gives these individuals the opportunity to enjoy activities that help them live fuller, more independent, and joyful lives. Some of their favorite outings include disc golf, dances, barbecues, and trips to Morgan’s Wonderland — experiences that bring them genuine happiness and a sense of community.

This Christmas, I told my cousin Jonathan, who is the owner of Decade Day Service, that I wanted to do something special for his group of 17–20 patients this year. While remembering the majority of these young adults are in group homes or have elderly parents who still take care of them, my mission is to make this Christmas special for each of them individually by getting them an item or items off their wish lists that Jonathan will have them prepare for Santa!

All donations will go toward:

• Holiday gifts

• Sensory and recreational items for the group

• A Christmas party where they will receive the items on their wish lists

• Any extra donations will start a support fund to help ensure the future of activities and outings they love
