Make Calvin's Dream Trip to CrunchLabs a Reality

In July 2024, a month before his 6th birthday, our son Calvin was diagnosed with Leukemia. The past year has been incredibly difficult for our family, but today we are grateful to say that Calvin is doing excellent. After months of intense treatment, he is back in school, starting youth sports again, and celebrated his 7th birthday surrounded by family and friends. While his cancer journey is not yet over, the hardest phase is behind him. Through it all, Calvin inspired us and everyone around him. He rarely complained, and nurses often commented on his amazing attitude and courage.

One of Calvin’s favorite things has always been Mark Rober and CrunchLabs. Long before his diagnosis, our family submitted a Camp CrunchLabs prank video that Mark included in one of his uploads. Every month when his CrunchLabs Build Box arrives, Calvin immediately checks to see if he got a Platinum Ticket — the golden ticket chance to visit CrunchLabs in person. Visiting CrunchLabs has always been his dream.

Now, we have an opportunity to make that dream come true. Mark Rober is offering a once-in-a-lifetime trip to CrunchLabs through a charity auction hosted by TeamWater, which funds clean water projects for millions of people. By pooling together support, we hope to place the winning bid and give Calvin the chance to celebrate his birthday by meeting his hero at CrunchLabs.

Winning this auction would give him a huge, positive memory to help replace the tough ones from this past year.

If we don’t win: 100% of the funds will be donated to a children's cancer charity, so your support still makes a lasting impact for kids like Calvin.
