Hello everyone. I’m starting this go fund me for my best friend, more like my sister and her husband, who is like my brother. Brittany and Nicholas are from NEPA, Nick is a graduate west Scranton and a military veteran, Brittany is a Valley View graduate and a nurse. They have had a really rough go the last couple years. They are the best people I have the honor of knowing, and would do anything to help anyone in need. As you may remember Nicholas had thyroid cancer and is thankfully in remission. The last go fund me really helped them get through a tough time between missing work, medical costs, and mental toll, and I can’t thank everyone enough who donated towards this. Unfortunately now Brittany has been having medical issues - she had dissections (ripped/torn) at the vertebral arteries on both sides of her neck which supplies the brain and spinal cord. Luckily she survived and is on the mend but life will never be the same as she is very limited by what she’s able to do physically, being on blood thinners for months, and had to be weary of any signs of stroke. Now Brittany is having fertility issues due being diagnosed with stage 5 deep endometriosis. She has to have a procedure done to remove the endometrial growth and one of her fallopian tubes has been completely ruined, and has to be removed - possibly the other tube as well. With that being said she has always had dreams of becoming a mother, and growing a baby for her and her husband. Unfortunately with the fertility issues she’s facing the only way she will be able to get pregnant is through IVF. Her insurance will not cover fertility treatments, so everything will have to be paid out of pocket. Please help me make their dream of becoming parents a reality. They are best people and deserve to have a child of their own. Motherhood is a beautiful thing, and being told the only way you will be able to get pregnant will cost them thousands of dollars is truly heartbreaking. They feel so defeated by all the road bumps life has thrown at them, yet still have optimism for the future. Please if you can donate anything it will help. Everyone deserves the choice to become a parent, please help me make their dream come true.
