Make Branden Klayko a Hometown Hero
Donation protected
"Branden Klayko was Louisville's voice of reason," Stephen George said. Indeed, he was. Branden's reason manifested itself in the nearly 1,800 articles housed on his exceptionally well-thought online publication, Broken Sidewalk.
Branden always challenged us to do more, think more, be more. When there were wins for the community, he celebrated them. When there were places for improvement, he offered suggestions to move forward.
That's what set Branden's work apart - his ability to show both love for the community, but also hold it to a higher standard than it often held itself.
Branden helped to bring events and ideas to Louisville that would draw the entire population into necessary discussions - CycLOUvia, Park(ING) Day, or the development of alleys, to name a few.
This is why Branden deserves to be a Hometown Hero. Ask around - his impact here in Louisville runs deep and he's taken it across the country to elevate our community nationally.
We've heard from you - many of you - about Branden and Broken Sidewalk, and we're listening. He would want us to remember his work, reflect on it, and continue to move it forward. That's why the Klayko family asks your help in keeping his legacy alive and well in our community indefinitely.
In addition to your donation, please use the Contact Form at the bottom of the About section at the link below to nominate Branden for a Hometown Heroes banner and explain why you think he is a hero. Thank you for your ongoing support. Louisville really is the greatest place in the world!
