People have been asking me for a long time to do a show that takes the some of the best improvised moments of Symphonics Live from over the years.
 
WHO AM I?

My name is Shawn Randall.

I'm an Artist(Actor /Singer/Poet/Songwriter/Piano Player/Producer/Freestyle Rapper).

I've been performing and providing a platform for performing artists for over18 years. I'm the Founder/Curator/Host/Performer of Symphonics Live. Founded in 2003 Symphonics Live is the multidisciplinary show that has appeared at the Blue Note in New York, The Highline Ballroom, Joe's Pub, and currently in residence at the Bowery Poetry Club. I'm also a singer and keys player in 3 bands: Jenson & Shawn, The US Open, and Extraordinary Alien.
As an actor, I will be appearing in Ensemble Studio Theatre's 50th Anniversary season in the next main-stage show Travisville written by William Jackson Harper(NBC's The Good Place).


WHAT IS MAKE BELIEVE: Shawn Randall Solo + Friends?

A year ago I had an exciting, and possibly crazy, idea to make a long-time dream of mine a reality: to take my passion for performing and improvising and channeling this Love into a largely improvised solo performance with friends and folks said that if I build it they would show up.

My version of a solo show has always involved other people.

So I'm raising funds to secure the venue, musicians, tech crew, publicity, & equipment to present this show in the fall.

I need to finish this leg of fundraising for the project by August 1st. 

I am super excited to be in touch with a venue that will be perfect for this maiden voyage. 

I'll announce the launch date and location of the amazing venue then.
