Most of you know me as Ines but I now go by my middle name for my artist name which is Anahide and I am a singer-songwriter and composer from Geneva, Switzerland. I was lucky enough to attend my dream school in Boston, Berklee College of Music, and graduate this past December. I moved to Los Angeles in February to pursue a career writing music to media, in TV, film, advertising. With my partner in crime, Francesca, I started performing more and more around LA, Boston, New York, Nashville, San Diego and we eventually formed our band Honey (links below). All this performing, led to the release of my debut single this past October and the beginning of my solo project as an artist (links below).
I was also given the opportunity to score a sci-fi/ drama mini web series called "Axium Effect" that you can find online (link below).
I am in the process of recording my second single, which will most likely come out in January and have many more surprises in store!
In order to keep the magic alive and continue collaborating with the incredible artists I've met in the city of Angels, I am applying for an artist visa which would allow me to stay in the United States for another 3 years and the reason I am reaching out for your help is to ease the very steep lawyer and application fees.
Any contribution helps and a little help from a lot of people can come a long way. I understand some of my fellow graduates are struggling as well and, so even a repost or share would be greatly appreciated!
I wanted this campaign to benefit others as well and, so I decided to donate 10% of the profit to a cause I stand by, an organization called Music For Relief. It was founded by Linkin Park in response to the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and it has provided support to over 25 natural disasters since. Its mission is to raise awareness and funds to help relieve the communities affected by natural disasters while protecting the environment using its unique platform of musicians all over the world. At this very moment, Music For Relief is putting all its efforts into raising funds for the victims of the California fires.
