Updates On Xavier

In 10/2016 Xavier was rushed to the hospital for emergency brain surgery. When he woke, his vision was severely distorted and he found out he had stage 4 testicular cancer. Thankfully his vision did return and he completed 4 strong rounds of 5 days a week chemo. The day after his 19 birthday he underwent a Orchiectomy to remove the cancerous testicle with hopes to be cancer free. That wasn't the case. So we packed up and went to Indiana for 2 months for a double bone marrow transplant with high dose chemo. We returned with a positive outlook that the cancer was in remission. After only a few weeks his numbers have begain to climb again. He has put up an amazing fight and is the strongest kid I know. Unfortunately , the doctors says there is not much fight left to be done. Giving us a few weeks to a few months. He may choose one more chemo, I don't know that yet. But I do want to follow the advise of the Doctor that if there is something he wants to do, go do it!! NOW!! That is what this page is for. Make a wish isn't much of an option because he's 19 and his time frame to do something is a few weeks. I don't want his first and last plane ride to be to a cancer treatment. Everyone has helped us so much during all this. I can't thank you enough. I'm here asking for any help you can give us to spend some time together as a family and make whatever wish he comes up up with to be possiable. Thank you
