My name is Ansam Abuabed, (27), from G4z4. I stand before you as someone trying to maintain a family of seven.

We are attempting to live under dire conditions in tents in the Khan Yunis area in the southern G4z4 Strip.

It's hard to describe our daily life here: no food, no medicine, no clean drinking water, oppression, helplessness, psychological pressure, the scattering of our relatives, and daily shocks from losing loved ones. Here in G4z4, it's not just about hunger, disease, and fear; it means actual death.

I studied mathematics at the university and worked as a math teacher. Additionally, I had my own project in recent years and owned special equipment.

A few years ago, I launched my own project, 'Ansam's Creatives,' and executed it successfully. I was on my way to realizing my dream in design, art, and creativity. But now, due to the war, I have lost not only my job as a teacher and my project, but also the equipment and tools specific to my project.

Since October 7th, due to the continuous bombing in G4z4, we were displaced from our homes in eastern Khan Yunis. My family has been displaced three times. Currently, we live in a tent in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area with my siblings and parents, unfortunately under extremely low humanitarian conditions. There is a shortage of food, water, and toilets, and the weather is challenging, making it hard to live in a tent made of thin fabric. We lack even the basic essentials of life.

The past months have been filled with hell and terror. This war has lasted too long, and our mental health and lives are constantly at risk. We have reached a point where there is no hope anymore in G4z4, as if we are awaiting death. Even if a ceasefire is reached, the destruction in G4z4 in all its forms cannot be repaired quickly.

Unfortunately, our home was destroyed, and during a brief truce, I was able to record a video of it. My heart broke seeing our house in ruins, losing hope that we would ever be able to sleep in our homes again.

To cross the border between G4z4 and Egypt, our names must be listed on the crossing list (paid permit). The coordinators in Egypt, authorized to add my family’s names to the list at the border, demand $5,000 per person just to cross. They won't add the names until we can prove that we have the money ready.

My family consists of my parents and four siblings: Ahmed (25), Mohamed (23), Salah (21), and Hossam (15).

Please help me get them out. I sincerely appreciate any donation, no matter how small, that will make a significant contribution to alleviating our suffering.
