Giving Tuesday is the global generosity movement that brings people and organizations together to transform their communities. This year, on Giving Tuesday, we can't wait to join forces with you so we can provide more homeless animals with the food, care, warmth, safety, medical care and love they deserve.
Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society's 2022 Goals
- Rescue, socialize, care for, and find forever homes for 275 cats
- Continue to TNR (trap-neuter-return) to reach our goal of 1,000 cats between 2021 - 2025
- Launch our Assistance Program which will allow us to support those families who want to keep their companion animals at home by offering them support, medical care assistance, and general supplies like food and litter. We truly believe in keeping animals with their families whenever possible and a temporary dip in finances should not change that. Our goal is to provide at least $5,000 worth of food, supplies and medical assistance to those who need it most in our community.
The mission of the Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.
