15 new songs have come since the last album and each has a piece of vision, a piece of the story of these times; of what is dying, what is birthing; what we are hospicing, what we are midwifing.

I got an Arts Council grant to develop string and horn arrangements for some of these songs, which are ready now.

It feels time for this music to come into the world and get to work. Time to birth it.

That means embarking on a journey. The next step is a couple of days in the studio with Giles, putting down voice and piano, stems we can build from.
