Change lives, help people learn to read and write

Join CENAES in making a difference and an impact in our community. CENAES, Centro de Alfabetización en Español has been teaching Latino immigrants how to read and write in Spanish since 2003.

32 million people in the United States and 50 thousand people in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area don't know how to read or write. This is what we, at CENAES, are doing about it.

Most CENAES instructors are volunteers but they still need funding to purchase educational materials, provide stipends, and sometimes provide some financial support to students participants going through difficult times.
