Update, 27/7/25: HI EVERYONE! I made it to Peru , thanks to all of you! I wanted to provide updates about the trip and keep pushing the fundraiser. I am currently still trying to raise money to repay the quickloan I had no choice but to take and some additional funds for being in this country! Thanks to so many of you, I was able to gather and purchase the gear I needed. So if you are willing, please share the go fund me link. As I have mentioned previously below, I have services that I will continue to offer once I return to the states for flexible pay as a way to make money. Please let me know if you are interested, and please read the previous updates below for important information. :) Lastly, if you are OPPOSED to a public shoutout/thank you from me, please let me know!

Hi everyone! I am currently trying to raise and earn money for my big academic trip IN LESS THAN A WEEK! Read below for more information. Please consider sharing this fundraiser link like the wind. You can send it to individual people, send out an email with multiple recipients, share on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, group chats, share with acquaintances, classmates, friends, coworkers, family, your neighbors, any communities or groups you are a part of, any and everyone.
I have been collecting donations for a while, but with the trip VERY soon, I have *also* started taking small neighborhood jobs for flexible pay using the skills I have. If you have work that needs to be done, you can contact me and ask about the services I can provide.

Update: Thanks to everyone, all that's left is to raise money for repaying a quick loan I had no choice but to take out (with high interest rates, sadly), protective field gear and supplies (I am even considering renting gear), and funds for being in Peru! I have also been asking people if I can by gear off of them, rent or borrow, or if they have gear to donate. There is a list of gear I need at the bottom of this post. Supplies needed absolute latest by 7/11/25, ideally earlier. I will keep the fundraiser open after the trip for support to repay the loan. :) I would not be able to do this without your support! Thank you for getting me this far! I would not be here without my friends, classmates, professors, family, coworkers, so many people! With an individual's permission, I would happily do a public shoutout!

Original Post:
I am a Lawrence '25 grad (BA Anthropology) who is so happy to announce that I have been accepted to an archaeological field school! Will you consider sharing this post with even just 1 person or donating even 5$ to my fundraiser? Sadly, I found out too late that Lawrence University funds don't apply to graduating seniors. While I am on the hunt for external funding, it is not guaranteed. Please help fund one of my academic dreams and the experience of a lifetime! This experience will inform and assist my career goals as an anthropologist who loves archeology and material culture! As an ANTH major, I am proud to study the human condition and appreciate the similarities and differences in cultures. Anthropology is my academic true love! Please share the link, donate, or both if you are feeling generous! If not, thank you so much for your time. Donations of any size are appreciated!
