Make a Difference: Earthquake Survivors in Turkey

Update: On February 20, there was another series of devastating earthquakes in the same place, of magnitudes 6.4 and 5.8, affecting millions more in Turkey. The death toll has now exceeded 40,000, and there are millions left without a home. Please help.

On February 6, 4:17 am a 7.8M earthquake caught millions of people, including our extended families, in their sleep in Southeastern Turkey. Another powerful 7.5M earthquake hit the same area within nine hours. The death toll already passed 15,000 and increases every minute. The destruction came during a winter storm which adversely affects the rescue operations and makes it difficult for the survivors.

We are raising funds to support earthquake victims in Turkey. Our goal is to provide immediate relief and support to those affected by this disaster.

All funds raised will be directed to two reputable, most trusted non-profit organizations that are actively working on the ground in the affected region to provide aid to those in need (links given below).

We will regularly update supporters on the use of the funds, including sharing receipts and other documentation of transfers to ensure full transparency. Please help us make a difference in the lives of those affected by this tragedy.

Who we are:

We are high school students living in Saratoga, California. Our extended families are also impacted by the disaster, some relatives are still under the rubble waiting to be rescued, others lost their homes and trying to survive.
