Make a Difference: Support Our Ghana Mission
Donation protected
Many of you know, I teach at Cleveland School of the Arts, and this summer, I have the honor of helping to facilitate an incredible opportunity: taking a group of our talented and passionate Ghanaian performance arts students to Ghana.
This journey is deeply personal for me — not only is it a chance for our students to connect with the African diaspora in a powerful way, but it also aligns with my birthday wish this year (June 13): to pour into our youth and give them access to an experience that will transform their worldview. I had the honor of sponsoring my family last year on a trip to Ghana.
While the major logistics are covered, there are still important items and expenses we’re working to offset — including support for the communities and villages we’ll be visiting. I’ve already contributed $500 of my own funds, and I’m hoping to match that through the generosity of my community.
Your donation will help cover:
• Additional travel costs for students
• Supplies and donations for the villages we’ll visit
• Emergency needs and cultural materials for the trip
If you feel moved to support, no amount is too small. Whether it’s $5 or $50, your contribution helps us plant seeds of connection, creativity, and global consciousness.
Thank you for helping me make this birthday wish a reality.
