Hi, I’m Cairo! I’m thrilled to announce that I have been offered a place with my school, St Edmunds Catholic Academy, on a Karibu Tanzania Expedition with Camps International in July 2026. I’ll have the exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to creating lasting, positive change in local communities. We’ll work on essential projects, such as improving school facilities, supporting wildlife conservation, and assisting with sustainable building. This journey isn’t just about adventure; it's about giving back and learning directly from the people we aim to help.

Beyond helping others, this experience will also play a big role in my personal development. I’ll build new skills, gain valuable teamwork and leadership experience, and broaden my understanding by experiencing new cultures.

This expedition costs £4,900, which covers all project materials, accommodation, and travel essentials, allowing us to focus on impactful work.

With the help of my mom and others, I’ll be participating in several fundraising activities—car washing, gardening, home improvements, bake sale, gaming events and even a sponsored walk/run/cycle - to reach my goal. Keep an eye on this page for updates of the events!
