In loving memory of Dr. Peter J. Luea we establish this fundraiser to honor his spirit and create the Dr. Peter J. Luea Legacy Scholarship.

For Peter, coaching through CHAP (Capital Homeschool Athletic Program) wasn’t just a side passion—it was part of his calling. He volunteered as a basketball and track coach, sharing more than drills and plays. He shared faith, hope, resilience. He communicated that each child, every player, had infinite worth and promise because of who they were in the eyes of God.

Coach Luea believed in the power of youth sports to instill discipline, teamwork, and resilience. By contributing to this cause, we can help ensure that these values continue to inspire future generations of athletes.

This scholarship will first benefit Peter and Sue’s children—who are part of our CHAP family and will continue to grow in the program he loved so deeply.

Let’s come together as a community to celebrate Coach Luea's legacy and support a family and a program that nurtures talent and fosters character growth. Please consider donating in his memory.
