To our village,

I want to start out telling the story of my sister Makayla Malone. This battle came unexpected to not only her but to all who know her.

Makayla’s fight began in late October 2024 when she found a lump in her right breast. We were first told it was cyst, it was treated with multiple hospital visits and 4 surgeries in the months of October 2024 through early January 2025. It wasn’t until January 5, 2025 at the age of 23 Makayla was diagnosed with stage 3C squamous cell carcinoma in her right breast. This cancer was very aggressive and the chances of her getting this was <0.001%. Throughout multiple chemo treatments, radiation, and a mastectomy. She fought long and hard for her and her babies Dream (3) and Dior (4). Recently on October 25, 2025 at 24 years old Makayla was called to heaven. We share her story to ask for help to raise funds for her funeral and burial. Any extra funds will 100% go to the care of her babies.
