Makaila Molina is a vibrant, beautiful freshman student at Shallowater High School, a basketball player, and a great young woman.  Today she starts a new journey as a cancer patient.  She will be receiving several rounds of chemotherapy in Lubbock for Hodgkins Lymphoma.

As a community of people, can you help in assisting the family with medical and household bills?  Together we can make a difference, especially around the holidays. 

This family has shown a deep abiding faith as they coped with the tragic loss of another daughter, Alicia Ramos, in a fatal car accident a few years ago.  Bringing light to their life is brother Oscar, a student at Shallowater Intermediate campus, who has Down Syndrome and is served in the life skills program. He brings joy to the world around him.
