Many of you have reached out asking how to help out the MAK team right now..
Initially, I wrestled with the idea starting a gofundme for our restaurant. I’m extremely prideful and didn’t want to burden others with my problems. After thinking about this over the past few weeks, I realized this situation is bigger than me and I need your help. We have an amazing team at MAK that I respect and love. They are the ones in the front line during this crisis and I cannot let them down.
The outpouring of support from friends, family, and our community has been truly unbelievable. These are extraordinary times and taxing on all of us. I do not take that lightly and understand that we're all going through financial hardships. For those of you that have continued to place pick up and delivery orders, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This is our lifeline and your support means everything to us. As a small business, I feel that it is our duty to continue to feed people and bring the community together through food. During the past few weeks, our team has donated over 250 meals to front line workers at area hospitals and local law enforcement and we will continue this effort. It's a small token of appreciation to our heroes fighting the front lines for us. Your donation will allow us to continue making these meals possible.
