Hello, my name is Ortez Kendrick and this fundraiser is for my great-nephew.  We are asking those who read this story to give whatever their heart tells them to give. Anyone who has a child or has had children knows that the greatest fear and hurt a parent can have is for something horrific to happen to their child.   Unexpectantly, on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at approximately 2:37 pm., tragedy has hit my family with a hurt that cannot be explained in words. In the case of my great-nephew,  my nephew and niece-in-law have experienced the loss of their beloved 2-year-old son.  His name was Major Larnard Willis and he was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.  CPR was given but he did not respond and shortly after his father made it to the hospital he was pronounced dead.  He was one of the sweetest little kids you would ever meet and was an example of the purity and innocence that God gives to children.  He was happy, energetic, loving, kind, and was loved by everyone who would cross his path. 

The only comfort in a situation like this is knowing that God has him now and that he doesn't make mistakes.  However, that does not take away the hurt that we will feel forever because of his absence from our lives.  No one ever wants to think about their children passing before them but unfortunately, it happens. And in this situation, regrettably, my family and I are not prepared for it.  We are asking for donations anyone can give to help assist our family in this matter.  No amount of money could ever take away the hurt and pain that we are experiencing right now but there are obligations that have to be taken care of and we are asking for your help.  No amount is too small and every donation will go to assist with burial expenses and arrangements concerning my great-nephew.  My family thanks you in advance and may God truly bless you for your giving!!!!  https://abc13.com/cypress-child-drowning-call-2-year-old-found-in-pool/11693640/ The 2-year-old was taken to hospital after being found in the Cypress home pool
