Last Thursday night, my brother Tyler, and sister-in-law Trinity‘s house was damaged by a large limb from the neighbors tree. When the limb fell it landed on their powerlines, starting a fire , which led to them snapping. The lines then made contact with the main transformer and sent 12,000V of electricity into their house. This in turn blew off their electric panel and outlets housewide. The fire chief said there was no explanation why their house did not catch on fire and it was a miracle. The electrician today also told them that the gas line should have blown the house up. We are very very thankful for God’s hand of protection. No one was hurt and the house is still standing. They cannot return home until the house is inspected by an electrician and the needed repairs are performed. Most expenses will be covered by insurance and they do have a place to stay currently. However, there are four or five large oak trees, 200 foot tall and lots more branches that could fall and create the same problem with catastrophic results the next time. Therefore my brother has decided that the trees must come down. He has spoken with the neighbor and they have agreed to have an estimate done on the trees. The last estimate was over $20K and that’s why the trees have not been removed yet. Here’s where you come in.
