EMERGENCY SURGERY REQUIRED BY EOD 7/31

My two year old pittie mix, my son, my ESA, has a very frustrating taste for socks. As much as I’ve tried to keep them away, I guess he found a way.

Saturday he puked 2

Sunday he wouldn’t eat, only drink, and would continue to refuse food, only water.

Then he rapidly started losing weight (already a very slender boy).

I don’t drive, nor does my partner, and I’ve just started a real job after working small gigs for a year, so the moment I was able to figure out how to pay for an emergency vet visit, I took him.

That visit was $1700, but now they have confirmed he will need surgery to removed whatever other foreign material he may have stuck in his tummy (3 to be exact).

The verbal estimate was ‼️$10-20K‼️, but I asked for a written estimate and they’ve bought it down to ❗️$8K❗️assuming nothing goes wrong during the procedure.

We have exhausted our CareCredit and Affirm loans just from the ER visit alone
