My sister-in-law, Belinda, had a major road collision on Friday the 3rd of July. She has broken her collar bone in two places that will require major surgery.
She has also broken 4 ribs, her hand and has sustained a massive laceration to her right knee.

Belinda is a single mum with a 3 year old and 7 year old boy and does a lot for the community, with land care and homelessness. She is living in a small rental in Bylands (50 mins from melb) no where near a train station or public transport.

Her car locked up in the wet and drifted onto the other side of the road completely destroying her car and damaging another, unfortunately her insurance had lapsed with out realising which has left her in a desperate financial situation.

Belinda's physical recovery will take a long time and have a massive impact on her small family.
