More information about Wags and Whiskers Pet Rescue, Inc.: Wags and Whiskers provides financial assistance to low-income families to have their pets spay/neutered.
Every year, millions of unwanted dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens, are needlessly euthanized. The good news is that every person can make a difference to help reduce these numbers.
We are a non profit 501c3. Major Michael Shipley Spay/Neuter Clinic, a project of Wags and Whiskers, is part of a larger campaign to address pet overpopulation concerns and we provide spay/neuter surgeries for clients who cannot otherwise afford them. We are located in Putnam County, Tennessee and we also serve the surrounding counties. An important thing to keep in mind is that we are a non profit and the costs for our services, equipment, time and supplies are often offset by donations. These donations help to offer the services at a lower cost for the pet owner, but the total cost to those operating the clinic is not really reduced. It’s just as expensive for us as a regular clinic but with your help, we can make it affordable for people that need these services and would not, otherwise, get their pet this crucial surgery. Please help us help them by donating today. Thank you.
Please note: We are in the final stages of re-opening the clinic but we will have a lot of start up costs. We will need money to cover the employees’ salaries, rent for the building, restocking medications, as well as money to offset costs and allow us to offer low cost services to the public. Please donate and share to help us help the community and it’s animals.
