Major Car Accident - Support Daivanshi's Road to Recovery

Hi, my name is Ashish, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart as my wife, Daivanshi, begins her long and uncertain journey towards recovery.

On the evening of April 21st, Daivanshi was involved in a horrific head-on collision on FL-20 highway near Blountstown, Florida, while returning home to Panama City after her master’s exam in Industrial Engineering at Florida State University (FSU).

She suffered extensive injuries: severe brain trauma with bleeding, fractured neck and jaw, and over six fractures in her legs, including both ankles and the heel crushed. She has already endured more than six major surgeries and is currently in the ICU at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay Hospital in Panama City.

By God’s grace, Daivanshi is now almost out of danger—but her condition is still fragile, still in ICU, and her path forward will involve months of rehabilitation, ongoing treatments, and further surgeries. We are holding on with hope, one day at a time.

If you know Daivanshi, you know she is one of the kindest, most thoughtful souls—always quick to help, always putting others first. Seeing someone so full of life and generosity lying helpless is incredibly hard, but I know her strength. She is a fighter.
