Majester Abdul-Jalil

A good friend, a fabulous father and a community servant, Majester Abdul-Jalil, Sr., age 51, died suddenly of natural causes. He was in California, leaving his family in Charleston, WV so the boys would finish high school at George Washington High School, before moving to California to join him. It was an expensive endeavor to return his body to Charleston to be interred. His wife, Anne, is part of the YMCA family and his children are very involved in soccer and swimming at GW high school. I am setting up this account to help raise money to return his body to Charleston. They will have a private ceremony when his body is returned. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 on Sunday, August 5th at the Islamic Center off Kanawha Turnpike. They are very private people but I know many friends will want to contribute. Majester was a beautiful spirit and he will be deeply missed. Please share with those you think will want to help. God Bless!
