Dear Community Members,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Majed Elkhaldi. Majed was the beloved son of Abdulrahman and Lamese Elkhaldi (UICA secretary). Majed was an integral part of our community, known for his active involvement and his melodious calls to prayer at our center.

Last night, Majed completed the reading of the entire Quran. He also called the Adhan for Isha Prayer. During his preteen years, he was one of our most dedicated students in Quranic and Islamic Studies, leaving a lasting impression with his commitment and enthusiasm.

During this challenging time, we ask you to keep Majed in your prayers, as well as his family, who are undoubtedly going through a difficult time. We will provide further updates regarding the Janaza prayer and burial arrangements in due course, insha'Allah.

Let us come together as a community to support one another through this difficult period and honor the memory of our dear brother Majed.

•  Janazah Prayer will be held at 12pm at Tempe Masjid 3/3/2024
  
• Burial will be held at Rahma Cemetery in maricopa  (Time Not Yet Confirmed) 3/3/2024
  
• 3aza(condolences) will be held at 6:30pm at UICA Masjid on 35th and yorkshire All muslims and non muslims are welcome. 3/3/2024
