Laura Strong is a mother of 3, a wife, daughter, sister, friend to many and supporter to more. She is a small town girl who is cherished and loved beyond the village limits. When her dad was dying of cancer, she moved her parents into her home so she could help her mom take care of him. When multiple friends were diagnosed with cancer, she was there to help raise money and prayers for them. She is known for her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, and her endearing (not to forget bratty!) personality.  Over the years, she has become known as the go to person for support, whether it's a shoulder to cry on, or a person to laugh with.  Her story, which has been selflessly shared through her blog, has become an inspiration to so many.

Our community came together to support her through prayers and donations. When she completed chemo, she threw herself a party and we all celebrated. Our girl was back! She still had a long road of surgeries and radiation ahead of her, but chemo was over.

Fast forward to 2015…the damn cancer is back…this time in her bones, liver and lungs. She has a fight ahead of her and we as a community want to give her the support she has given so many. In the midst of fighting for her life, we want her to make memories with her beautiful family. We want her to be able to go on vacations and live life to the fullest without worrying about finances.
