Help Maya and her Daughter Fight Cancer

UPDATE: Thank you all for your kind words and your generosity. Maya and her family are very appreciative for everyone's help. The funds raised were used to help pay for Maya's care, including supplementing her/her daughter's daily needs and paying for 24/7 bedside care. On the morning of November 27th 2022, Maya unfortunately passed away. Both Maya, before her passing, and her family had shared their gratitude for all the help that all of you had shown them. Maya's family is left to provide a funeral for Maya, but are struggling with the expenses for this. The funds previously raised had only been enough to cover her care up until her passing, so the family is asking for anything that you can contribute to help them set up funeral arrangements. Anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.

Maya has been battling cancer for over a decade. She is a 49-year-old, unemployed single mother and is now desperate for help. Despite struggling with multiple surgeries, chemotherapies and the ups and downs of managing her health and personal life, Maya has, up until now, been able to care for herself and her daughter independently.

After years of attempting traditional and non-traditional interventions and fighting with the heart of a warrior, Maya is now bedridden. She remains entirely dependent for all of her daily needs and needs in-home help 24/7. Her circle of friends have been visiting and taking turns to help care for Maya and assisting her daughter.

Despite Maya's battle with the disease, she has raised her sweet daughter Katarina (Kaya). Now a young lady, Kaya has been left alone to care for her mother who is in a tremendous amount of pain. Maya and Kaya's family do not have the means to assist them and the financial pressure on them is enormous since both of them can not work.

Maya desperately needs help so that her and Kaya can buy food, pay for medical care and buy the appropriate medical devices so that Maya can be mobile. Anything anyone can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
