Barney & Maizie's Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge

Hi Everyone, Barney here!
On the 6th of October I will be undertaking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge. I will be doing this on my own raising money for this awesome charity.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
I am training hard for this event and the reason I am doing this is for my friend Maizie.

Maizie was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer in 2022, at the time she was 20. In 2023 she was given the all clear so everything was fantastic, until she found a lump in her breast just a few weeks after celebrating the return of her life. Sadly now at 21 she has stage 4 endometrial ovarian cancer with secondary breast cancer, she has also been diagnosed now with bowel cancer. Maizie was told she could not have any treatment but they have decided to give it a shot and on the 10th of October she will undertake 12 heavy duty rounds of chemo!!!!
Ovacome is a charity that has helped Maizie and her family in understanding the disease and coming to terms with what is happening. There are other charities out there that have been just as supportive but I have made the decision to choose this one, they are amazing and really talk about the symptoms our young girls need to look out for!.

So please support me, Maizie and this fantastic charity and click to donate :) She is still living her best life and will not let this beat her!

Thanks Barn
