Maizie’s IVIG Journey

My amazing niece—Swiftie, Chiefs superfan, and the best big sister to two wild little brothers—is battling PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections). This autoimmune condition causes sudden, severe neurological and behavioral symptoms, making everyday life unpredictable.

She needs IVIG (intravenous immunoglobulin) therapy, a treatment that helps reset her immune system and reduce inflammation in her brain. It’s highly effective but extremely expensive.
