Hi, my name is Maita, I am 14 years old and live in Harare, Zimbabwe.

I am a passionate basketball player and sportsman. I received the prestigeous sportsman of the year award for my school this year despite being a junior.

I have now been scouted amoungst my age group to attend an NBA camp in Dubai this April 2026. This camp is significant for me because of the opportunity to play with highly skilled players and coaches, broadening my skill level, along with my passion for basketball and my future path as a sportsman. I am aspiring to have a sporting career both locally for my country Zimbabwe and abroad. Camps like this will not only give my skills a boost but also give me a chance to obtain scholarships and to go further in my basketball career.

The funds will be used to finance travel, accommodation and kit for the camp in Dubai.
