Maisie Shaves Her Head For Charity!
Hi my name is Maisie and I am 10 years old.
2 years ago my Grandfather passed away from cancer. At exactly 11:59pm on New Years Eve 2018, I made the decision to shave my head to raise money for a cancer charity.
Even though Grandad passed away two years ago, I believe that doing this will remind me and my family that we all have a bit of him within us.
I hope the amount of money that I raise can help with research into finding better treatments and one day a cure for cancer. I also hope the money raised can also go towards resources for this research.
We are very grateful for any money you can spare for my cause! Of course, it's a bit nerve wracking going from having long hair to practically none but I know I'll be fearless. I also have a wonderful support network who will be cheering me on!
