Hi friends! Maisha here, So as we all know, inflation is the worst and life can be hard right now - I can relate. Thanks to being laid off from a job with the city and experiencing a bad breakup - times have been hard.

I don’t have strong familial ties I can rely on, so I’ve had to depend on chosen family. I’ve been fortunate to have friends who have allowed me to couch surf for the past 1.5 months - and I’ve stayed in motels when couches were unavailable. But this is not sustainable.

I’ve been waiting for a miracle, and one may be within reach. I’ve found the perfect potential roommate, for the perfect apartment, in the perfect area. I have to make it happen - I just need your help.

I’ve been able to obtain two jobs(!) during this time and through these - I will be able to maintain myself in the apartment and my livelihood. That said, I don’t have a nest egg to lockdown this place immediately. Thus, I’m asking for your help in securing $1,500 - which will get me into this place on October 1st.
