Update as of 11/01/2025!

MaiMai has her surgery on 10/17 and the procedure was to remove her uterine mass as much as possible as well as find the origin of the mass. I wanted to keep quiet until we knew she would recover from her surgery in which, it was a success!

About 90% of the mass overall was debulked, and with little to no chance of growing back; however it seems the mass originates in her pelvis area which was hard to reach, but as of 10/30, she had a follow up with her oncologist. The great news is that the surgery, the hardest part, is done, and with her recent oncologist follow up, Mai's results of her cancer are low level threat, and she shall begin oral chemotherapy this come Monday 11/2!

While I am able to cover her medications, I am still hoping and asking for help covering the remaining of her surgery costs, which I am so thankful for everyone's support as we have been able to cover half of it! I have been chipping at it myself as well and brought it down more. I thank everyone, friends, coworkers, (a few) family for the help and I would love to do anything to repay with my offers of baked delicacies.

Hi everyone, I almost never ask for assistance in a lot of things; I work full time and bake pastries and cakes as a hobby and side gig and have always tried my best to earn my way to anything Ive gotten through in my life.

But what I'm coming here with is:

My little one, my little Holland lop Mai, (pronounced "May" for all you Avatar the Last Airbender fans!), has been diagnosed with likely a uterine cancer, leaning more towards carcinoma, if not lymphoma.

She was diagnosed around September 1, and was typically given only 3 weeks to live. But with determination and constant monitoring and checkups, she's been a fighter and have been slowing down the mass and outlived the expectations. Now However, due to the sudden events and with time going on between appointments , the costs have been piling, her health and weight slowly faltering, while it was mostly maintainable, up until now, her recent oncologist/regular vet visit requires that she gets surgery as soon as possible, in which we were able to book for Friday. Naturally, the cost would be very difficult for me to muster up within a week or two. As with other medical bills already being chipped at, this will be the biggest one to already pile on; I am and would be truly grateful to for any help to alleviate not just the financial weight but the emotional/mental weight as seeing Mai's condition with each visit affects me.

Mai is my baby, my joy, my emotional support, my entire universe and my very reason I've kept going in life the last five years I've had her, and I cannot imagine seeing her health deteriorate any longer nor would I ever want to lose her, especially with as young as she is.

I am willing am to offer my trade of baking, art, voice over work, anything that can be collateral for helping fund her surgery to any friends or family local.
