Mairim Pagoada was a 17-year-old girl born in Houston, Texas but raised in San Pedro Sula, Honduras for 9 years. She was a senior and standleader at Klein High School with high aspirations of attending a 4-year university and eventually becoming a doctor. She loved traveling back to Honduras to remember her roots where her family came from, and reconnect with old friends and family members.
Mairim was a beautiful person inside and out. The ones who had the chance to meet her could not tell you otherwise. Unfortunately, we are now in a position we never thought we would be in, having to say goodbye to her much sooner than we thought. Mairim touched so many peoples lives with her love and was loved by so many in return.
Mairim recently traveled to Honduras to spend her holiday season and celebrate the New Year with her family and friends. This past Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2 AM, however, we lost her in a tragic car accident. Her body will now be transported back to Houston, which is driving up the already unexpected high expenses of funeral costs we are encountering.
We sincerely ask you to help during this deeply difficult time. All donations will go towards funeral expenses to give Mairim the proper burial she deserves.
