Folkestone Rope Swings are a group of people in and around Folkestone with a passion for the outdoors, climbing. rope swings and other fun activities.

Rope swings provide a controlled way for kids (young and old alike) to take some predictable risks, which is something we feel is mostly missing in today's society.

Rope swings in Folkestone are loved by many, but it only needs one individual to ruin the fun by vandalising the swings. Folkestone Rope Swings have funded the replacement of rope swings several times, due to senseless vandalism of the swings.

Please help us to ensure there is always a safe rope swing for the kids of Folkestone.

Our aim is to raise only £50-100 per year to ensure materials and safety equipment is available as needed.

Any donation helps the cause, even just £1.

A donation of just £4 can buy a safety-rated quick link to make a join between an existing rope swing and a steel cable.

A donation of £7 can buy a tough rubber cover for the steel cable, making an excellent grip surface.

A donation of £10 can buy steel cable to replace a cut or damaged rope swing.

A donation of £40 can buy 50 metres of steel cable, enough to cover long term maintenance of many rope swings.

A donation of £50 helps us maintain and replace climbing safety equipment, helping us ensure our own safety, while we ensure the safety of the swings.
