Mainline Nurses on a Mission
Donation protected
I have felt a calling to participate in a medical mission trip since I was in nursing school. As a part of my final semester for my Family Nurse Practitioner degree program, I have decided to organize a medical mission trip of my own.
Along with fellow nurses and practitioners from Lankenau Medical Center and Wilmington University, we will be joining Foundation for Peace for a week-long mission trip in Dominican Republic. The trip will run from November 26-December 3.
Because this is a mission trip, we will be funding our stay, our flights, our medical supplies and the shipment of the supplies to Santo Domingo, DR. We will be using the supplies and our knowledge to provide mobile medical services to rural populations in the DR. We will be seeing between 300-1,000 patients each day, treating them and educating them about basic health and wellness.
Please consider contributing to help fund my trip and supplies. All donations are greatly appreciated!
