hello friends!

i am a librarian and writer living in maine, embarking on my first major film project. i studied film for years, and am now ready to try to tell the story i've been writing about in one way or other since then. my project is called IN PURPLE I DESCENDED, and it will be a short, nonfiction, experimental piece about—what else?—love. i have a team ready to go, including aerial artists and dancers, a puppeteer, a cinematographer, songwriter, and illustrator. i will be directing, writing, editing, and doing the sound design myself. this fundraiser is an effort to save money for editing software, a laptop for film projects, lighting, film equipment, and being able to pay my team for their contributions. i will post updates as they happen; thank you SO much for considering supporting us in this passion project ♡︎♥︎♡︎❥❣︎
