Mountain Chef Bistro is a locally owned and operated small business in downtown Burnsville, that opened in March 2018 by Chef Bill Konyok and partner Debbie Phillips. We offer fresh foods straight from the farm (and the sea) to the table, supporting our local farmers and foragers as much as we are able. Our goal is to offer excellence in every area, starting with the quality of our food to the quality of our service.
We continue to need your support as we strive to keep our doors open to takeout and delivery orders for the foreseeable future. We appreciate every order placed and every gift certificate purchased to help us meet our challenging financial needs to keep our doors open now and in days to come.
We have a small number of servers and kitchen staff that are now without a way to earn their tips and salaries because of the global situation we find ourselves in due to the widespread and devastating effects of COVID-19. Our servers and staff become our work family and we care about them very much.
This funding effort is to help those who would normally be making most of their living on the tips that are no longer available to them because the dine-in option is gone. We have also cut our kitchen staff due to the same reason. We have other local friends in the food and beverage industry who also find themselves in the same situation and will also be setting up their own funding pages to ask for help from our community and friends.
We realize that there are many who are struggling during this time. We appreciate your help just as we are also working to help those in need around us. Thank you for any assistance you are able to give on behalf of our hard-working and deserving staff. May God bless you.
