My name is Melissa Larrazabal and I live in New Jersey but almost all my family lives in Venezuela. I opened this campaign to raise funds for a little girl that is very dear to my family in Venezuela and that is going through a very tough time. Please see her story and help us give her a chance to live:
"My name is Maily Angarita. I am 8 years old and I live in Maracay, Venezuela. When I was 4 years old I began to lose weight and to have fever. After being hospitalized and after many tests, my family and I got the news that would change our life forever. I was diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukemia in January 2014.
Full of hope, I began chemotherapy in “Hospital Central de Maracay”. Since then my parents and I have done our best to find the medicines I need which are not only expensive but very difficult to find in Venezuela. Thank God, my doctors and foundations I began to get the care I needed and I began to feel better.
In October 2017, I had to go back to chemotherapy and I have not gotten better. I now need to get a bone marrow transplant. Thankfully, I have a donor (my sister). But unfortunately, in Venezuela, there are no options for me to get the transplant. I need to get this done in another country and my family does not have the means to do that. This is why we put my life in your hands and ask for your support and help to get the funds needed to be able to get the transplant and get another chance to live."
I, Melissa, will be responsible for collecting and transferring the funds to her mom Ysbelia Labrador to help pay for the trip and treatment.

"Hola Soy Maily Angarita tengo 8 años y vivo en Maracay Venezuela, a los 4 años de edad empece a perder peso y tener fiebres contínuas por lobque me hospitalizaron y realizaron muchos examenes ... en Enero del 2014 nos dieron la noticia que cambio mi mundo de niña ...tenía Leucemia Linfoblástica Aguda ..! Con muchas esperanzas de vencer a esta enfermedad empece mi tratamiento con Quimioterapias en el Hospital Central de Maracay y desde entonces mis padres y yo hemos luchado para poder conseguir los medicamentos que cada vez eran mas dificiles de ubicar y costosos..pero gracias a mis médicos y a la ayuda de fundaciones comenecé a mejorar .... estaba en fase de mantenimiento hasta que en Octubre del 2017 tuve una recaída y tuve que volver a pasar por las quimioterapias fuertes de nuevo, las cuales no me han ayudado mucho por lo que necesito realizarme un transplante de médula ósea ... ya tengo mi donante ... es mi hermana quien en los estudios que nos hicimos salimos compatible ... pero lamentablemente en mi país Venezuela no existen las condiciones para poder realizarmelo por lo que Necesito de la Ayuda de todos para reunir el dinero necesario para poder realizarme El Transplante de Médula Osea en el exterior y seguir viviendo ... solo ayudame a seguir luchando y poder vivir ...soy @luchemosconmaily "
