Maïka's path to international education

Hello! My name is Maïka; I am 17 years old, fundraising to cover tuition for University in London.

In the past year, I have been able to explore Europe as a Canadian. My father and his wife, along with my four younger siblings, moved there for work. Even though we have legal documents to live in the country, it is hard for someone my age to get a paid job.

Until now, I have been able to work in Canada during the summer and raise a bit of money to go towards my education. I have also worked hard to get two scholarships for the Business program I want to attend. However, my efforts will cover only half of the tuition fees. My family is helping me with everything, but I have many other siblings who also need financial aid, and therefore neither my parents nor I can fully cover the tuition.

And that's why I need your help! The program in London is a unique opportunity that allows me to explore and learn about business and take part in projects such as start-ups. The money raised from this fundraiser will be used to cover some of the tuition fees and the high living costs of London.

By attending this school, I could bring an international perspective and devote myself to creating an excellent student cohort.
