On January 26, the home of my mom Maija Traffie and my three youngest siblings burned to the ground. 18 year old Tucker fell asleep in the living room and woke up to smoke in the house. He broke down the bedroom doors of my mom and 17 year old Trent, so they got out quickly. 14 year old Tessa and her beagle pup Chloe were in their bedroom in the basement where the fire started, and Tucker couldn’t get to her through the flames, but she finally heard him screaming and woke up. It is truly a divine miracle that they are alive and well, including sweet Chloe girl. While the house was insured...the family will undoubtedly need some immediate essentials as they lost literally everything, escaping the house without even shoes on their feet.
