Hello family and friends,

We are devastated to say that our Ohana on Maui has lost everything due to the 8/8/23 Lahaina Fire. Their homes, belongings, and history was diminished to ashes. Thankfully, everybody was fortunate enough to evacuate and make it to a family friend's house safely.

The Maielua family are originally decedents of the island of Maui and have lived on and loved this sacred land for generations. There are now 3 generations of Maielua left with nothing. They have lost 8 homes located in Lahaina and their property on Prison Street. The history lost over the last few days is irreplaceable but I am reaching out to ask for any amount of love and support to help our family through this tragedy. We greatly appreciate any amount of support during this time through donations, prayers, and sharing this message.
