We are a group of six students who are working together to create our grad film at university. This film is something that we are all passionate about, and three of our members have been working on this idea since our first year. As a team, we are determined to make the rest of the time at university memorable and make a film that we are all proud of. We would like to have this film shown at film festivals and see where that takes us. Our film is currently in the pre-production phase, so nothing is definite at the moment.
The film-
Mary, a struggling journalist, visits the town of Maidenfell looking for a story to inject some life into her career as she battles her boyfriend's wishes to put her journalistic dreams on hold to start a family. She is then met with horrors worse than she could have imagined after meeting the town's mayor, Abe and their golden girl, Isa. Upon learning Isa's eventual fate, she must decide what her priorities really are.
Funding-
The funding that we need is key to making the film the best it can be:
- Actors and their expenses
- On-set catering
- Transportation between locations
- Fees and permits for filming on location
- Hair, makeup, and costume
- Set design
As a group, we are heavily focusing on production design in makeup, costuming, and set to guide our story.
