Maiden Castle House Sponsored Run!

Hello everyone,
Our wonderful manager, Ash Smith, and fabulous chef, Maria Barnes, have decided to run 100km, yes - 100km! In aid of Maiden Castle House care home’s amenities fund.
Although not taking place until Saturday 18th June 2022, we have started fundraising early to boost them whilst they train. Maria ran 100km last year, but Ash hasn’t even run a marathon yet, so training for this event has already commenced already!
The staff and residents will be supporting Ash and Maria in the run up to the run and on the day, and hope that everyone’s friends and family will also support in person and with donations.
Maiden Castle House care home in Dorchester is an established home, run by Care South. It is home to 66 residents, some of whom live with dementia, but who all have a huge zest for life. By supporting the Amenities Fund it enables everyone to live their life to the fullest through the hiring of entertainers, participating in trips and improving and developing in-house resources.
